Let's try a random MN news item/factlet: while Minnesota may indeed have more than 10,000 lakes, but that number evidently comes short of winning the title for Most Lakes: Texas wins.

Wow. As a former Minnesota resident and now an Austin, Texas resident, I have to say: how lame. Even though I love Texas. Oh well, we know Minnesota is the true winner! (Though I do rather suspect that Minnesota counts ponds.)
