Activities Update
There's a lot of stuff happening at Carleton these days. Must be spring - seems like there's a flurry of activity taking place.
First off, there's the opening of Reunion registration! Book today to save your room in Davis! Be very excited and use lots of exclamation points! Whoo hoo!
I'm aiming to try to score my senior year room, Davis 415. (I think that was the number.... Really, how often did dorm room numbers get used? I remember before I got to campus, I thought I was supposed to have people write my room number on mail they sent me. The people in the post office must've been laughing at me big time when letters were addressed to my dorm room. But I digress....)
Anyway, click on over to the handy Web-based registration page to sign up today. Do it before May 1 and you get a 10% discount.
Second, this blog is going high-falutin' (or some similar technical term.) Carleton's got a super-spiffy, so-new-it's-still-beta blog concentrator, Planet Carleton. Click on over to check out all blogs Carleton-related. We'll register this blog on there one of these days soon when I get around to thinking about it. I should probably just go do that now....
Third, as you may have already heard through other alumni communication channels, Carleton's doing a day-long tomorrow, Friday March 31, entitled "Confronting Katrina: How Should We Respond?" This too is available for Web perusal. Check it out.
Reunion is coming soon, and the planning and coordination for it is kicking into high(er) gear. If you're already a volunteer, you can look forward to a flurry of communication and activity Real Soon Now (TM). If you're not a volunteer and want to help out, contact anyone on the Reunion Planning Committee at right. We're always looking for fresh faces. Er, not to say that the current faces aren't fresh.... Not that there's anything wrong with an unfresh face.... Um, anyway, volunteer!
